Many factors have been related as causes of obesity.
What is most probable, is that obesity results from a combination
of genetic or hereditary influences, physical, psychological,
environmental, social and cultural factors, which interact
and influence people in such a way that they bring on an
imbalance in their basic nutritional system, resulting in
nutrition disorders.
However, there are some illnesses of the
endocrine type that affect the general metabolism and cause
a tendency to obesity. These illnesses must be identified
and treated in order to balance the metabolism as well as
possible and decrease their influence as factors that cause
obesity.
People suffering from obesity usually cannot
control their basic nutrition factors, which are: quantity,
quality and frequency of meals. |
